Injection Site Changes

Nasara has been on insulin syringe therapy for two months and she tends to use her stomach for her injection site, but lately she has developed some lumps in those areas.(they are sore to the touch)  Those lumps are called hypertropy - where the skin has been damaged do to excessive punctures.  She will have to use alternative areas.  She is becoming skilled in injecting her arm, but she will not do her thigh or hip.  It makes her nervous.  This irony is something that is sustaining life for her is creating problems as well.  Peace and Blessings,
