This is where Nasara goes every three to four months for Diabetes Clinic - which is a visit to her Endocrinologist - Dr. V. (Dr. Vaidyanathan). We are taking you through the steps from Nurse Michelle taking pressure, height, weight, blood sugar numbers and insulin totals from downloads off of the Cozmonitor. 
Then she had blood drawn from her arm (they needs several tubes) to check A1c and other potential problems with her thyroid with Phil and his staff in the lab. 
Then urine samples to check for Ketones and then we discuss any issues or problems with Nurse Michelle and if we need any prescriptions. 
Then we go see Dr. V. She goes over history, growth & weight percentages, concerns and A1c results. Then she checks her site areas, (the places on her body that we input her indwelling unit).
We have been so blessed with Dr. V, she has been instrumental with getting Nasara's numbers down and holding Nasara responsible for her own diabetes management. Oh, we signed up as a Mentor family for newly diagnosed families.
